I'll take a closer look at the bars later today but from what i can see it's only surface rust. If that's the case I'll just sand those areas down and give them a good wash with some dawn soap and water and then wipe them down with rubbing alcohol before i apply the rustoleum.

Took my son out for a ride on some local singletrack.

 

Looks like he done a good job putting them on straight.

 

A little more chrome gone. These will spiffy up the stock wheels until I can get something better. $6 all the way from the magic land of Thailand.

 

Is there a year and specific trim involved?

 

Installed my TRD Pro grille with amber lights

 

My cousin went through this with a brand new Silverado. But it was a lot worse than just some electrical issues.

A guy in my fishing group is trying to lemon out his new ranger because it was constantly overheating brand new, had electrical issues and leaking fluids like a newborn.

Every single thing that's produced in mass has lemons. Vehicles, boats, phones, computers, tires, guns, etc.etc.etc.

I've had several brand new tacomas. No transmission issues. No electrical issues. No issues at all except squeaky leaf springs after lots of mudding... And the dealership promptly installed silencers and they have kept them quiet over a year now.

I never said he couldn't or shouldn't comment... Just saying every truck manufacturer has lemons, and there's more good ones than bad.




Just got my wife a new XSE Camry, best one at the dealership. Every option. It was on the show room floor... There's an issue with her AC, and a broken AC vent from day one... We're not calling Camry a crappy car, we're getting it fixed under warranty and moving on.

 

Holding up my spare tire bracket and chain. Big ol’ clump of metal I don’t want clanking around! Haven’t thought of another way yet and don’t want to remove it. Works for now.

I actually know people that have ripped their spare from underneath the vehicle, my dad for one, and it’s easier to get to behind the cab if I get a flat-they usually never happen in perfect conditions..

Can’t see any of it unless you get under the rear bumper..

 

Installed my @N2DesignsInc remote start kit today. Beyond easy install

 

Removed chrome bumper ends. Not bad for $26 ea.
