I just put mine in today and if I had to do it again I would start at the front. If you feed the wires into the small hole you need to make in the rubber grommet under the passenger side door, run into the kick panel and then go backwards toward the tailgate, I think you will find you have plenty of cable.

    UPDATE:

I have created a new thread so that it is a easy way for people to find the instructions on how to do the install. I also have included a link to that thread on the first page, first post. I figured it would be a lot easier doing it this way then having to print out install guides and what not. Plus, this way they are all in color and it is my own personal install photos from my truck. As well as, they are updated photos.

I just added the pictures of how to route the Integrated Harness underneath the truck from the Tailgate to the Passenger Side Black Grommet. This should clear up any confusion on which route to take as I made it clear as day with notes

Lastly, I added some pictures of how I routed my Integrated Harness into my Tailgate and made it look OEM.

Wow. Yeah. I’m just super confused by this. Go ahead and send it back to me and I will send you a replacement. That’s not ok at all. It just doesn’t make any sense to me as the wire loom itself is 14ft long then you have the bare wire on each side that adds the extra length for the 16ft. I’ll make it right for sure. Send me a PM on if you want a return label or if you’d rather just send me a receipt from the post office and I can just reimburse you for the postage that way. Whatever is easier on you. Just let me know. Sorry about that. I’m still amazed at this o_O

I’m happy to confirm that I was not loosing my mind. Just removed the wires and measured it and the full length is maybe around 13.2”? Please see below two pics.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Question... Do you keep your tonneau locked?

I've got a Fold-a-Cover. To get the rear weatherstrip to sit right, I have to close the tailgate first, then close the tonneau. If I just open/close the tailgate, the weatherstrip gets jammed between the tonneau and tail gate and will leak slightly when it rains.

Product suggestion for @KTJO 4x4 , add a couple of actuators/wiring for the front/rear tonneau key locks.

Do you have 2 holes in your bed for the cables to wire through? I only have the one...

I just sent payment for the full kit 2 days ago, haven't heard anything. I know @KTJO 4x4 is probably very busy but all this has me just a bit worried. Wires too short, missing pieces, lack of communication etc. I think there's just too many orders and too many threads to follow!

Don’t worry. Just be patient. She got back to me. She was very apologetic and is sending me the missing parts. It was all good.

Edit* It took a week or so for name to be put on the list. She knows about your purchase. As long as you PM your message. And don’t forget to put your address in that PM also.

Thanks! Good to know she's taking care of you. I did do all that in the PM. I see her posting on other threads and getting back to others so I just get a little nervous when my money is in limbo. Maybe is because I'm 'new' here and I don't have many forum posts. I generally don't really post but I read a ton of stuff on here daily.

That I can understand. The people on here have been awesome. Just to let you know my timeline on this product. I ordered in the beginning of May. Took a week to get on the list. Just got it this week. It takes some time. Just giving you a heads up.

Thanks! It's good to have a rough timeline. I just read that she's going or has gone away for a week too so that will probably slow things down. As long as I get it before the winter, I don't want to crawl under the truck then.

By the way @mrtn ... welcome to Tacomaworld. Have fun and enjoy. Keep your credit cards locked up. It’s very easy to just let loose on this site. But, your truck will look sweet though:)
