Wheeler's Offroad were the ones to suggest I go with the 700lb coils versus the 650lb coils. I can say Im happy with the amount of lift I got with them. Havent really driven the truck since install. Truck is going in for alignment later this week. Took it around the block and dropped it off a few curbs and it definitely handles the weight a lot better. Taking the truck on a 10,000km trip in less than 2 weeks so I have a better opinion then.

The stock drain comes just out of the firewall but it’s only a few inches, I got a 5/8”plastic nipple and a few feet of 5/8” clear tubing which will redirect the water drips away from the frame. You should do it only costs 5 bucks max and it’s super easy to do.

Installed my @TUFSKINZ accents and while I was at it, I changed my shifter indicator light to a Blue LED version. Lift tomorrow :)!

Just a side note but in doing the “AC drain mod”, a lot of people seem to basically couple the OEM drain to a new length of hose using a smaller diameter brass coupler or something similar. My opinion is this only makes the drain that much smaller and essentially allows moisture/gunk to build up around the coupler when that can completely be avoided instead by getting yourself a larger diameter piece of tube and sliding it over the existing drain (secure snug with a hose clamp if you want). The original 2nd gen owner thread on this mod does it with the larger diameter tube and to me that’s the better method.

    Yes they are!

Side question, anyone know of a touch up paint that matches real well with the MR701's Bronze? Trails out in Colorado are narrow and slight dings on the wheel's outer edges does happen..

A little spring maintenance. Hit the roof rack with the wire wheel to get rid of a little rust. And reapply the spray on bed liner. Lasted 3 years.

I highly recommend getting some spindle gussets welded on with use of spacers. Wheel spacers cause a bit more leverage on the front wheel bearings and spindles.

    Stance looks good!

Picked up some P21S and gave the engine bay a scrub for the first time. I've always rinsed it but never a complete clean.
I know I missed some spots! I need to give it another thorough cleaning.
Don't forget to clean under the engine cover!

Modified the front bumper, grill, and driver side fender Saturday night with a 120# Doe (3 days after I bought it). Now to go back to OEM or something aftermarket and a little more rugged...these are the decisions that I'm happy to be making, considering the circumstances.
