That's exactly what I'm planning on doing, except i want fan to automatically kick on instead of flipping switch.

Thanks! Been following that thread, but no one has done inline switch that will turn in the fan automatically.
That actually sounds like exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Summit Racing carries them. The thermostat has two leads to switch the fan on at the preset temp.

I know they aren’t SCS but I couldn’t afford $800 in new wheels but the Tundra got some love today. Thanks again to @sd1uh8as for the express. Have to figure out what I want to do with the center cap (has a giant 8 on it now) and remove my spacers since the idiots at Firestone didn’t remove them after mentioning it 3 times.

Also, I think people have adapted the aluminum and red TRD center cap from the faux beadlock wheels to those Level 8s

I’m using one of these on my heep. It’ll go on the inlet side of my radiator hose with a temp switch threaded into it and hooked up to the high speed on my electric fan. Low speed will be on with ignition. eBay special $23. Temp switch was $7.

Haha, if my wife would camp with me maybe, but fits me and the two kids for now.

I’ve seen those but I’m not a huge fan of the chrome look of them. Thinking of getting some black TRD stickers to put on or just blacking them out all together.

Do you happen to have the link? I tried searching their site, but it shows too many options. By the way I will be using Hayden fan. Thanks!

It’s for the radiator hose, you make a cut and insert. Universal! eBay has all sizes.

It’s just an option for an auto fan switch because that’s what your looking for.

I think you’d be fine with a fan switch on a toggle because you only experience the problem while wheeling, right? So when the truck goes into 4lo then press the fan switch to on. 4lo goes off, fan goes off. No problem. Nice thing about a switch is you can have it run when the truck is at idle and you get out to eat a snack or whatever. It’ll cool everthing down.
