    EDIT

FIC has been lurking here on TW and noticed our thread here. They reached out to me and have said that FIC management will not authorize them to do another group buy.

I realize this is a let down. Sorry for getting everyone’s hopes up. :(

If for some reason anything changes, I will update y’all.
    ————————————————————

This is FEELER thread for a possible round two group buy for FIC (Fuel Injector Clinic) flow-matched fuel injector sets for the 1GR-FE. The first group buy we did was a huge hit with over 25 sets of injectors ordered.

Recently there have been a few guys mention they would be interested in a possible group buy for FIC injectors if FIC would be willing to do another one. Before I reach out to FIC again I'd like to see how many guys would actually be interested. I'd like us to be able to round up at least 10 so that we can tempt FIC to do another one. As far as the percentage off, FIC has a pretty strict pricing policy and will not allow us to post a discounted price publicly. Once we get enough people on board and I contact FIC, I will be creating a PM with everyone participating to discuss the price.

FIC currently lists on their website 525cc and 650cc, but they can pretty much set you up with whatever flow rate you are after. I believe everyone last time ordered 650cc sets. With HP Tuners now supporting the 2005-2015 Tacoma 1GR-FE, you can now run larger injectors and change the scaling in the ECU to make it run perfect.

FIC carries a limited lifetime warranty on their injector sets. They include data sheets with each set to assist with adding the data to HP Tuners. The injectors are Bosch injectors and have different plugs than the stock injectors. The FIC sets come with solder-in pigtails for free OR you can purchase plug-n-play adapters for additional cost.

Here is an overview what FIC is about, outlining how they match their injector sets, etc.

Here is the Tacoma product page.
    http://fuelinjectorclinic.com/Tacoma

These would pair well with the 1GR-FE billet fuel rails currently in progress from @05Taco4x4.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/1gr-fe-billet-anodized-fuel-rails-trd-sc-approved.613657/

Note: These FIC injectors are about 3mm longer than the stock injectors. They are a snug fit, but will fit fine with a stock fuel rail since the lower cushion will compress a little and the stock rail has a bit of flex due to being plastic. The billet rails obviously will not flex like the stock rails, so the billet rails being made by @05Taco4x4 will account for the additional 3mm so the injectors will be a perfect fit.

I got 525s.. I don't plan on pushing the limits too much. The look nice sitting in their nice little blue box though.

Wow. Ok. Hmmm Been thinking of doing the HP tuners and messing around with tuning N/A don't think an N/A would ever need some 525s but the SC injectors may help some.

Thats what I run. It's the ticket for N/A in my opinion. Though I should caviat that if you can get some FIC ~4XXcc/min injectors, their superior flow matching would be next level goodness..

SC injector size? But since these guys can do other sizes makes this very intriguing.
