It seems to Marlin that "weeks" = "months". I'm still waiting and I ordered on January 13.

Yeah, the lead time inaccuracy is annoying. I dunno, maybe they do it so people don't freak out and cancel orders or whine and cry, but I think most would be understanding if they were up front and said this is going to take a long time but we've never not provided ordered products.

Its been so long that my tracking number is unusable, so when it does ship I probably won't receive a notification.

Really? I'll call when I get off work. If I'm at 8 weeks also, I'll cancel and order the atlas.

@BigMike you're losing customers. This stuff is ridiculous.

Let us know what they say. I'm guessing the same as they told me, but you ordered much earlier than me

The update I got was that their builder was going on medical leave and would be out for a month. All my parts are in stock and have been pulled, but there's no one to build it. I'm going to do some more Atlas research, and will probably go that direction.

@BigMike how can you continue to string your customers along with false build date promises?

How has someone NOT done a write up on this?

I’ve been searching. And searching. And searching...

I called Marlin about instructions and got “sorry, we don’t have that right now”.

What sort of instructions are you looking for? Take out the old one, bolt in the new one, fab to make it work. What am I missing?

There is very little info out there. It’s frustrating but totally worth it. I had several people go out of their way to help me figure it out when I installed mine.

I’d be happy to do the same for anyone here who has install questions. I’m no expert but its all still very fresh in my memory.

There’s a seal, a coupler, another adapter. Maybe a single fucking picture of how exactly it all goes together? A torque spec or two?

Some instructions to look at just to be sure that all the things that seem straight forward actually are.

I’m sure I can figure it out, but it seems to me, I shouldn’t have to.

Obviously, the fab work is up to me. I understand this.

Well they have to have one before they can take a picture  maybe that's the problem.

All kidding aside, I think there is an assumption that people that are doing this are mechanically inclined and don't need a step by step to install a crawl box. I'm not saying that's right or wrong, just saying. If marlin needs to do something its create the product first. Then maybe take some pictures and write it up.
