Trust me when I say this peeps...this kit is worth the wait...put mine in last weekend...had it in my mod pile since the first release (months ago) and I am in love with it...especially if you have a cover on your truck bed.

 

Sorry been off the forums due to work. No I didn't measure preinstall. I just added wire to the actuator and was done with it.
Like I said, I knew that I wouldn't have time to do it during the install if I had to back up 2 steps or stop part way through.
In short, pun intended, the wiring needing some extra which if nothing else made it easier to zip tie and secure inside the tailgate.

UPDATE:

Hello Everyone...well I get back from my trip later today so my plan for this week is to get my shipments out for the Tacoma Mirrors and 4Runner Mirrors since I wasn’t able to get those out prior to when I left for my trip. Then I am going to work on updating all of the TAILGATE OPENER Orders because I know there have been payments and Orders placed so I need to get back to members on those orders. For the most part, on the TAILGATE LOCK orders those are mostly caught up. I do have 11 COMPLETE FULL PACKAGES that are ready to be shipped. I just have to create a label for them when I arrive home. They will get shipped out on Monday or Tuesday.
