Rite. Only reason I created one, was to keep an eye on the kids (years ago).. little shits found other avenues to hide from Mom and Dad.

I check it out every now and then... mostly through up some music.

 

@Fish12South if I have a chance to drop by the shop after getting tires thrown on, I will try. Good to recognize someone on the road and then finding their profile pretty easily, figured your handle might match your plates!

Got the chance to drop by 4wp in Richmond and shoot the shit a little with @Fish12South after getting the new tires and now prepping for a weekend of camping and good times...maybe even take this thing on a trail or two to give the wife the bug and get moving on the next thing

 

Most action I have seen in this thread in awhile. I saw the fb group is doing bald mountain soon. I think I work that weekend.

 

Not a member of the fb group...I just happen to catch a fish headed south and had to bounce down there for the closest discount tire so I figured I'd reach out. I've only owned my truck since the 12th and already met 5 or 6 quite friendly people in the last couple weeks, it helped that I agreed to meet at breweries for a couple of them. But I've also picked up parts from a few and picked up pointers or knowledge from others!

Speaking of ISO/WTB 2.5 gen driver side headlight if anyone has one sitting around for some reason or another.

Hey y'all,

Might be out of place posting here but I will be down in the Shenandoah and Blue Ridge Mountains for the next week or so doing a lot of hiking and sleeping in the back of my truck. I'm not looking to do any crazy wheeling but would like to find some trails or even fire roads to get off the main roads. I know its a big area but if you have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate them. Or even if there is another thread i should try asking in..

Can't point out anything in RVA specific, but if you can get up into the mountains there is Peter's Mill Run (https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/gwj/recarea/?recid=73883). Check out this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/northern-virginia-roll-call.188512/page-5083 for more active member participation and they have far more trail experience within the State.
