All I have to say about that is, DAMN that sucks!!!!

 

Evening TTC'ers! Got my tires "cleaned" from the trail ride, and the little yellow light is telling me it's time for Discount Tire time - 3 sensors for the road, a new spare, and one sensor for that one!

 

Picked up the Extang solid fold 2.0 that was posted up here earlier this week. Today I was able to drive down and pick it up.

I was able to get it installed, and still keep the tool mounts installed. I just had to pull the pin on the base, and zip tie it to the beam.

 

for a minute, I thought you crawled in there, and had someone shut the gate, for a real life install pic!

 

Not being racist at all with the next statement, I've had the best customer service and follow up with the small Mexican tire shops. There's one where I work and they charge like $10 to actually patch a tire the right way.

There's another one here in Gilmer that does fantastic work with really good prices. Have taken trailer rims to them and they mounted a tire for free and discounted a 12 ply to the price of the 6 ply because they didn't have them. They are local people that I see spending their money around town too and not paying big box owners a franchise fee.

 

hey, @Pyrotech ! I hope you got to watch the Macy's fireworks last night on TV. First time since they opened the Brooklyn Bridge, that they had fireworks OFF the bridge. 25,000 shells man!

 

Evening folks! Haven't been very active lately, but still here. Got some issues at work, but on a planned 10day vacation for my bday. At my parent's in Dallas for a few days. What's goin' on 'round the Big D?

 

Just going to throw out that the guys at San Marcos Discount Tire always know what is going on, used them for nigh on 25 years since they opened. They have reasonable policies they follow, and explain them clearly. I'll go back unless something happens. Long way from needing new tires; they still treat me like when I bought my last set new - about a decade ago.

The mods have been in the Sun Room! Carol's beach theme has taken shape. I got to have fun with the SATX group trail ride last Saturday!

 

Nice! Were those your pics I saw with the flooring and windows? Been breezing through to catch up, but ya know how that goes 'round here.

That was simply the best "synchro" 1/2 hour ever produced. The 25K shells were JUST what they loaded off the bridge! Waterfalls. Then they took the Macy's show you have seen, dumped MORE stuff in it, and made it Non Stop. I took stooped amount of pix of the TV!!
