I installed the cell booster under the driver's seat following the same routing as @JdevTac except stopping under the seat. I installed the power supply under the dash using an add-a-fuse. You can see below the power is the red line and the external antenna is the green line.

    Awesome! Thanks!
Is the booster w/external antenna noticeably better performance?

Based on what I've read, cell signal runs between -50 dBm (perfect) to -120 dBm (no service). I don't know if it's linear or not. I've checked it a few places and I'm getting about 30 dBm better on average (getting -85 dBm with booster vs -112 dBm without).

@MESO - can you tell me where I can purchase a couple of the black plastic caps for the KC lights? Had to reinstall my lights and had to sacrifice the caps to get to the screws. I bought caps at Lowe's but were too big.

I haven’t seen anything about gen 2 for this. Might be possible he is working on something.

I forgot that. From what I’ve seen the hex has been shown as a 3rd gen dbl cab application. From what it seems like his main builds are from his own truck being a third gen TRD level non sunroof offering ~ since he has that readily available for testing. He has been making strides above and beyond for other models though.
