You're good to get ext travel on stock UCA's. You just won't get the travel until you get on. No diff drop. Maybe carrier bearing and just do the needle bearing while you're there.

I just got the same tires on my 3rd gen. I have Fuel JM2 17in wheels (-6.3mm offset) ( 4.5 backspacing) with Fox 2.5 CO. Both side are rubbing. Did you have rubbing?

I had rubbing with the mud flaps. No rubbing on normal street driving/parking.

Thank you for the visual! Based on the answers that I've received, I'm starting to think I'm associating the harsh ride to the wrong end. The rear (Fox 2.0) was lifted with a progressive 3-AAL setup.
Can anyone that's swapped from 3-AAL to a full pack (like Dakars) comment if their ride improved? Thank you.

It's stiff with dakars too. The rear end needs some weight.

Also, if you haven't read up in hammer hangers. Check out archive garage or BAMF. I haven't gone there yet but considering some HH, shackle and shock relocation for the rear in the future.

    Wow this really sucks.
    :ballchain:

Edit: So stock leaf pack and a damn block for stock rear ride? I will also look into hammer hangers. Thanks!

I had the same setup at one point with the same ride as you. I ended up installing Hammer hangers with a Icon RXT leaf pack which did wonders. But the one thing that brought it all together were dumping the Fox 2.0's for AccuTune's Fox 2.5 DSC Tundra shocks.

Hey, just found this thread. Loving the fox shocks so far. Seem to handle well on and off road. Just waiting on a bumper and rack

About to pull the trigger on some used Fox 2.5 C/O. They have 600# Eibach springs on them. Is this a normal thing to see? I see plenty of people here with “different” springs see some blue Kings for example. Just wondering how these will stack up to other options.

Eibach is an excellent brand, and the only spring we currently offer. No need to be concerned.

I think he's asking about the stock 13" 600s vs the King blue 14"600-650 he's been seeing.

Eibach is good, I just had a good deal for king 700lb springs. I am putting a bumper on and already have some trail armor on as well as 2nd battery / air compressor so with extra weight I wanted 700 to help out. I used this graph to help pick my springs from https://accutuneoffroad.com/articles/coilover-spring-rates-for-toyota-tacoma-4runner/

They are actually a pair that was freshly rebuilt by you guys. I was mostly wondering how the Eibachs compared to the stock springs that come on the Fox 2.5.
I’m buying them from a 2nd gen owner so I know with weight/height differences between his and my 3rd gen plus the added armor I have, whether or not switching to a 650# would be better? I’m less concerned with the kings vs “others” and more what works best.

Do the springs have a length # on them? If you are concerned about the spring rate being correct, take a look at our Tech Article discussing weights and rates:
    https://accutuneoffroad.com/articles/coilover-spring-rates-for-toyota-tacoma-4runner/

600lb springs come in a 14" as well.

Yea there are definitely the standard 13” 600# springs
    Part#:eibach 039-26-004A
Some quick googling confirmed this. ^^^
So I guess my question is 3rd gen DCSB with full skids (some steel 1aluminum) and soon to be sliders
No plans for a bumper but maybe a hidden winch down the line. Would moving to a 650lb 14” spring and lightening up the preload be a better option for me?
I’m genuinely looking for 1.5” of lift through all these scenarios

I should follow up with I checked out your link and it says the 13” 600# should work fine for 2-2.5”. Just making sure there isn’t a more “ideal” scenario
