You dove all into the MESO switch panel, cutting up your dash (awesome work btw!) but you were afraid to cut out a little bitty tab on your light?

 

Took it swimming.... was in new Orleans yesterday and it started to rain. 2 hours in, downtown was flooded. Have not done the rear dif breather mod. Think some water could gave gotten in?

 

Don’t think it was fear as much as being unaware it could be modified. We all saw what he did to that dash! This’ll be a walk in the park! Plus he’s got that sonic cutter!

 

Finally got around to installing my Tepui RTT on my Mobtown Offroad Crossbars and got my new wheels put on with 265R17 KO2s.

 

(I had to look it up. Hey, those things aren't cheap! Think I'll stick with my Dremel tool.)

Speaking of Dremel tools and light bulbs...



<edit> Yeah, I know, you don't have to this. You CAN just buy an adapter wire harness, but I prefer to eliminate as many connectors as possible.

 

That’s what I was afraid of! Haven’t looked it up yet, but sounds like something you’d want in the mod arsenal!

(I made a similar comment to a co-worker while we were walking through a nice, new, roomy, well-lit, temperature-controlled mechanical assembly area at work. He replied "Yeah, but you'd just fill it up with junk anyway." and I really couldn't argue the point with him.)

 

First day after bringing mine home, I ended up going through pretty deep flooded road/river overflow, didn't suck up any water in the rear diff, and proceeded to do the diff breather mod the next afternoon.

I'm no expert, but typically the diff would need to be pretty hot and submerged for a decent time/amount of exposure IM

 

I have been in for two services with my pro grill, they did the recall on the sensor and everything, we talked about the new grill and they said they were fine with it. I guess it depends on your dealer/staff at the time.

Not "today," but recent. Took it out to Allegheny National Forest for a few days. Cap held up pretty well into some legit backwoods off-road. Clamps needed tightening after however. I think I counted about... 100 scratches down both sides of the truck due to some seriously narrow "paths." I've owned it for less than 2 months haha.

 

Ah ok. Yeah I came out the car park (was in 4th floor) and 1st floor was flooded and roads were rivers. Took bout 10 mins to get to the interstate so wasn't to long and dif was cold so I might be good. Yeah do need to do the mod

 

I didn’t want to fk with the bulbs to make them fit, if you touch them the wrong way they burn up. If they were LEDs I would have cut them up.
