This is the off-topic thread, right? I saw this on ChrisFix today and I got irrationally upset. He installed a performance intake on his Mustang and the parts didn't fit so he just slathered some RTV on the gasket and called it good.

 

Everyone uses rtv for the intake manifold

I've got 2 of those tall magarita cups from Vegas. I use them to put my change in. I only put quarters & dimes in them. I use another jar to keep nickles & pennies. About every year or less, when one of the margarita cups gets full, I roll em up along with the jar of nickles & pennies.

Just finished rolling em up. $330 & I still have the other magarita cup full.

Unfortunately my back is f'd so I can't carry them to the bank to deposit. Lol

 

Ah, she got 2 other sons who did good. The first kid is usually the troublemaker.

I used to never use cash either up until 4-5 yrs ago. Many times I purposely make change just so I can fill the cups faster. Lol. Feels good when I cash out.

 

Thanks guys - I was wondering how oem manufacturers were doing that - looks like the units reverse polarity with the lights so one set lights up while the other turns off. The style of light I'd like to install isn't easy to find in an actual switchback. There's ones with white and amber, which both have their own positive and share a negative / ground wire. The best I could do with that is probably have the amber flash while the white stays on, or have the white and the amber alternate. Here's the basic style I'm going for:

No more stock bumper so it's about the only option I'd like to use.

Yeah the post mentioned the mechanic had to weld bolts to the frame to even get it on the rack in one piece.

 

That's insane. Why even bother putting it on the rack, that thing is only good for parts or a frame swap

I guess it'd be easier to swap the frame if it was elevated...
