Those early first gens sure look sharp when they've been well maintained

Boy that turned out really well. I can appreciate that you take the time to execute your mods thoroughly and completely. Especially on something like that steering wheel, there is no mechanical improvement or whatever for restoring it. So it was really getting it done the right way just because you wanted to and have the ability. Looks good man. I'm impressed with your attention to detail with your work

Maybe if you don't have a receiver hitch, but if you've got a hitch, it will drag way before the tire ever will. I've drug my reciever hard tons of times, but never even put a mark on the tire. That's with a 10.5 wide tire. If you are running a super wide spare, it might hang low enough to drag.

I laugh and like seeing you and bartmaster go at it, always trying to one up each other on the perfection of the mod or execution of the mod:rofl:

And for the love of god people, the past tense of "drag" is "dragged", not "drug".

Yes, I know, but that's the most information still around on the seemingly defunct company.

    I have mods
I had a thread on frame plates a while back when I was shopping for mine. I went with the CBI ones.

Today I swapped in a new drivers seat cushion after 200k miles (expensive, PITA, but my back thanks me)
Tightened down my hood latch to keep it from bouncing
Mounted my wireless charging phone dock on the dash above the clock and hid the wires behind the facia

    Stuff. Also things.
I went with the FROR plates. 3/16 thick and they lined up really well on the frame but any one of the handful of options is probably just fine.

I will say that reinforcement for the rear frame improved stiffness much more than what I was expecting. I can still see the bed move, twist, and vibrate, but it’s much less than it was before.
