You're gonna have to upgrade to heavier leaf springs if you haven't realized it by now. Might hold that tent just fine right now but if you put camping gear and shit in the bed those standard APs are gonna ride the bump stops

Welp, was gonna brave the heat and work on the bushings this afternoon but my neighbor is parked in the driveway and her POS Civic won't start. Cranks and starts to run but dies after a few seconds every time. Has gas in it. Gonna have to help her push it out onto the street.

The only Honda I know that's had more issues than my wife's is our neighbor's...thing leaks oil like it's allergic to it.

Yeah if I were to get another RTT especially a bigger one, I'm not paying thousands of $$$ for it. That's just nuts. I'll wait to find one used or though another company's sale.

A 2 seater. Well unless you wanna sit in the bed (legal here) in which case I can fit 2 whole family’s comfortable

 

I use low for engine braking down a grade. Doesn’t help much going uphill, just makes your RPM’s scream.

 

Why so you can drive it around in front wheel drive with the rear driveshaft off? I wouldn't do that unless I absolutely had to lol.

 

Riding in the bed is super fun. Only time I’ve ever gotten to do it is in Mexico. Illegal here and most other states.

 

This is 100% fine. I drove for two weeks in 4HI without a rear driveshaft. Just remember to start it in 4HI or you’re gonna have a bad time. It’ll grind a bit shifting it from Park because there’s nothing stopping the rear flange from spinning.
