    Pulled the motor and rebuilt the supercharger. Also shipped the supercharger rotors off for a ceramic re-coat and the injectors off for service.

    In perfect timing for the engine swap, my dad decided to buy a collectors edition 97' land cruiser. Been "cruising" around in this thing for the last few days. The picture is from picking it up in Montana and driving it back home to Oregon.

    Welded in some Total Chaos coil bucket gussets. There were a few times where the wind picked up and blew away the gas. I had to go back and grind out those spots and re-fill them which kinda ruins the look of a nice smooth weld, but overall I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

    Looks like your spindle gussets are hitting your coil bucket? Mine did that too and required some clearancing.

    Very nice. I've got a set of these to install when I rebuild the front end as well. Probably a little more difficult to do with the motor in place still.

    I was wondering the same thing. Not a whole lot of room to work on the backside with the motor in the way

    I think if you cut the brake line bracket that runs through the gussets and moved the brake line around while you welded the gusset, then welded the bracket back on when you're done, it wouldn't be too bad. The way the bracket is positioned didn't allow me to weld the front of that gusset so I had to weld the back instead. If you were able to weld the whole front side of the gusset, I'm sure you wouldn't need to weld the backside. I just chose to weld all that I could because I had the ability to do so with the engine out.

    The new engine went in today. I splurged on some JBA headers last minute and got them on the engine as well.
