5100's all the way around. Front set at .85. Camburg Spindles. Camburg Uniball 1.25 UCA's. Total Chaos LCA skid plates. Custom Deaver 10 pack rear leaf spring. BFG AT KO's 285/70/17, Weathertech floor liners, Wet Okoles. Midland CB/PA, Firestick.
Hello Tacoma World - New member - Love my Tacoma. Yes, I am one of many that park at the furthest point in the parking lot so I can look at my truck longer on my way back from the store. (Not worried so much about the truck getting scratched - its a truck).

I am looking for pictures of Prerunner trucks with wheel spacers in the front.

I am thinking about getting wheel spacers for the front of my 2010 2WD TRD sport - to give it a more aggressive look. I want to keep my 17" stock rims and I am considering getting 285's. After reading a billion posts on tire size and rub issues I have found that 265/70/17 is the safest bet for no rub issues.

I do have a 2010 DC sport Prerunner and I dont want to cut into it just yet (I will wait for my first significant scratch). I have 5100 set at 2.5 and a 1 inch block.

I run a set of 285's and to avoid rubbing I used 1 1/4" inch Spider Trax spacers. I also had to ditch my front mud flaps cuz the tires were rubbing and eventually they would get chewed up.

I'm thinking about installing some on the rears to get that aggressive look.

I've got them all the way around. i needed them to clear the UCA's in when i went to 33's. Cheaper than getting new wheels again...

I've seen some generic wheel spacers out there that are cheaper than Spider Trax but they're not hub centric. Not sure if that would make any difference in the ride quality but I've heard that if its not hub centric you might get some slight vibration.

I'm needing some spacers for sure in the rear due to some shock hoops and King bypass shocks I had installed, but I'm wondering if i need them in front as well. You said you had the spacers installed in rear only, why did you only do rear? Just wondering because I'm wondering if it's common to only do the rear. I don't really want to do both if I don't need to, but if it'd look goofy with rear only then I may need to.

What's your reason for doing rear only spacers? Is it fairly common, or acceptable to do rear only? I ask because I need some in the rear, but don't know if I want them in front as well.
