    LOL!

Do you let others drive your truck often?

Has anyone tried this with a trailer yet? Or maybe I'm just wondering in general, but with it can you back up the 6M/T slowly with the clutch pedal all the way out? My main use case is going to be backing up my camper and of course the manual is horrible for that because if you let the clutch all the way out in R in 2WD you are going like 20mph in reverse! 1st is great even in 2WD, I can actually pretty much come to a complete stop with it without stalling the truck, but reverse is horrible! I end up having to slip the clutch and barely let the pedal out to back up my camper slowly and I figure that has got to be burning up the clutch pretty badly...

I have mine sitting on my desk but probably not going to hassle with installing it since I'm going to get a 2020 in a few months. But wondering on feedback from others. Hopefully it will be as life changing as others are saying!

I mean I am biased here, but that is the real reason I wanted this mod. I have a 2 axle trailer that's heavy as shit, and even heavier with a yard of gravel in it. Backing it up the hill and into my driveway is way easier and requires less (if any) clutch slip with 2lo.

This mod is a bit involved. Save the PDF as a Word file then reduce the font, or it’ll print the size of the page

That was the other main reason for this mod. I am looking forward to trying it out with my little 4x8 trailer, which is a beyotch because 1) cul de sac, 2) short tongue, and 3) can barely see it behind me.

Just follow the usage warning in the OP. We're 2.57:1 on top of the engine output going to just the rear diff. Reverse is also the weak direction for the ring and pinion.

Haha didn't realize you were also using an M/T, but I guess this is exactly what I need then, glad I got it! My camper is tandem axle and about 4000# dry. It kills me (and the clutch) coming home from a trip and trying to back it in to my driveway. Now I just wish I could put it in now, but don't really want to do it just to take it out in a couple months, so I'll have to try to be patient!

You could toss in the ECU side hookups and just lay the switch on the floor? As long as you aren't bouncing around too hard (offroad and such), you can be less concerned with tying stuff off and chaffing.

My OEM rubber mat on the passenger side sort of flexes away from the transmission tunnel. It makes a great spot for tossing papers and is holding my rear camera loom at the moment.

If I had to back up a 4k+ trailer just once, it would be worth it to me.

I was trying to hit it as soon as I got home last night but couldn't stop checking TW, a friend dropped by of course, and then the fam phone calls. It was fun.

I got mine ! I am now looking at the link for the pfd for install . It is the one that talks about splicing etc. Is there a pic or two somewhere that show which connectors I need to plug into , and where to mount the relay ? Also , did you guys disconnect the battery ?

Check the first post for links to the install info that is available. There is no cutting involved. If you are reading the PDF, and get to that part, just ignore it. Once you have the glove box apart it's pretty obvious which connectors it is. They only fit one place.
