2.0 final will engage gearlock when you enable S mode. Not dependant on ECT.
Gearlock won’t be enabled in D. Use ECT without being concerned about locking the gears.

Asking the real questions

 

Wondering the same thing: If I always run 93, would the truck perform better on a dedicated 93 tune or the OLE tune? Or is it moot after a 1,000 miles?

Mat has confirmed in a previous post. Tried to find it but it’s buried somewhere among the 48000.

Ok - Did i missed a partial release of the 2.0 ? It's not available for me.

I'm leaving tomorrow for a trip from Canada to North Carolina and wonder if that would have been handy with my RV. ..

Dang, ran with a 23 mph crosswind, stayed in 6th at 75 mph, impressive (compare to stock)! On latest 2.0.

I'd go for it. I'm loving it and finding no issues. My 2 cents.

 

It's offline currently. The 1st Beta 2.0 had the option and links were pulled. The latest Beta 2.0 is the Octane adjusted tune but no one has seen the 4.88 gear version yet. I am holding with version 1 beta and still super happy aside from the early 2-3 shift which Mat said he adjusted on the most recent Beta.
