Hahaha! He is such a beggar too. Anytime I come home he likes to smile at me and then lay on the ground and roll over. He's a lot of fun, 84 lbs of straight USDA Grade A beef. :D

Dawwws.. the puppy doge! He looks like such a good boy. My boy was a rescue too. Rescues are the best!

Have you seen Athlaos' pulley? He pretty much has the belt running on the blower shaft.

I just picked up the 2.3 pulley but have no immediate plans to install it until I dyno the 2.5. I'd like to see where the TRD blower reaches peak efficiency. I'm guessing the gains fall off drastically somewhere between 2.3 down to 2 inches

    Cute puppies aside

I borrowed a hot air intake to do some testing. I can feel the power loss. Idling at a red light my intake temps shoot up to 130+ at 68 ambient. Doesn’t make anymore noise either for some reason. Thought I’d get more vroom vroom noises with no intake resonator.

Ahh yes, the ol' reliable HAI. What brand is it, a K&N? Those guys HAIs are legendary. They usually net you so much gain that you have to retrain your foot on take offs otherwise you'll burn out even on a mild tap of the go pedal. 15 extra HP guaranteed. ;)

its pretty slick just require some machining on a lathe to get a groove on the pulley where as your version does not.

None taken. Leia(my daughter) has found that she can walk Lulu(the 10 year old puppy) if she just holds onto the leash. This has opened a whole new life for my daughter and a whole new level of “oh bother” for Lulu. When I come home from work, I am greeted by my daughter with either a “Chuckit” in one hand or lulu on a leash. That poor ol girl.

I also have no idea how much extra tension it creates on the other idlers, especially the one just prior to the added idler, that one bearing has a lot of load on it as @12TRDTacoma mentioned previously. It is absolutely SUPERIOR on wrap though!!! Its almost needed to create enough grip for the smaller pulley folks.

@BillDaCat8, do you mind showing me how you made yours?

I have had another idea floating around for awhile that would solve all of our "belt wrap" issues but haven't done anything with it.....yet.

A few peeps know what I'm referring to. :lalala:

Oh my god. Cuteness overload on this thread has been achieved! I can now die happy. :)

Yeah the entire idler system on these blowers see a ton of load minus the middle idler out of the entire setup really. Combatting belt fatigue while maintaining good bearing life out of the idlers and keeping slippage away has really been quite a task for us pretty much throughout the inception of this thread. A lot of these issues could had been negated had we have had a 6 rib belt setup from the very beginning. I am curious to see what you got cooking up man!

Calling all Snow Performance methanol injection users. Which controller are you guys using or do you want to use?

The stage 3 or stage 4?
