    Hello Crom,
I did your mod today and it works great but I would like to use a larger SPST toggle switch. I ordered this from Amazon and it is larger than the Radio Shack one. Am I correct that as long as it’s an SPST toggle switch it will work?

Thank you! I just happened to find this one in my tool box. I cut a hole in the plastic next to the TPMS reset button and it fits perfectly. Not the cleanest job but it isn't noticeable where it's at.

Worked like a charm! I need a better switch but I was pressed for time so this will work for now. D52FF882-86E0-4FC5-B686-50C70BFFE409.jpg

Good morning TW. Im just getting into mods, and actually this will be my first electrical one. I know nothing about electrical systems, so bear with me here.
We are adding a ground switch to the Blue wire with Yellow tracer, correct? Is there a reason that we dont cut the Blue wire, and wire the 2 ends up to the switch?

I picked up an SPST switch from ACE, some 18AWG wire, assorted terminal connects, some tap splices, and a crimp / strip tool. I'm hoping to get this wired up today. So far its taken me longer to get the supplies than I think its going to take me to install. I recently purchased a 2015 Taco DCSB Off Road. I have been trying to learn as much as I can the last couple weeks, TW is a great resource.

well it took me longer to gather the parts than it did to install. I forgot to put the IB1 plug back in, and when I went to start the truck it bogged down and the dash lit up. I had an O SH*T moment and then realized my mistake. The mod works perfect, I am able to cycle everything on and off on the fly. Ill be taking it out for a test later!

Borrowed your pic Tac1. The area in the poorly drawn red box is a good spot for a smaller switch that is hidden and hard to accidentally knock it on.
