    Nope! Look. If a tweaker assaults my tailgate, that means that, even in his compromised state, he knows how a removable tailgate works. When he drops the gate and pulls and meets resistance I want his eyes to see right away that there is something obstructing him. If it’s color matched, he may just think it’s his diminished skills and keep at it. In my view it’s like a disc lock on a motorcycle....tells the opportunist, sorry. Not today chump.

    That, and I didn’t have any red paint.:notsure:

    Got mine installed today after painting it. I had a Torx bit but couldn’t get the wrench in the space with it so I just used my finger to put pressure on the bit and tightened it with a punch. It worked out pretty well and I didn’t have to go buy a special tool.
