    Here it is, the long awaited 3rd gen anti theft device, production will start around wed/thur next week, just waiting on the cut blanks.
    The one in the pic is only the prototype and doesnt have the counter sunk hole, but the production ones will. Take out the factory T40 screw, install device, reinstall T40 screw, done, takes about 20 seconds.
    Theres also a tamper proof T45 torx screw option as well as powder coating option 20190530_170301.jpg

    I do not, I dont have a 3rd gen, I only have access to one about once a week and its usually mon or Tues. If there is a member that's close to the Tracy Ca. Area and wants to model it for me, I'll give them one for free

    Would be neat to know what this exactly is and what makes it an anti-theft deivce. Hard to have interest with all the info being "Anti-theft device uses t40 screws". Might have just said "Got some pointless cut bent metal for sale!"

    it looks like it attaches to the tailgate and covers the hinge, so the tailgate can't be removed.

    It bolts to your tailgate and keeps it from being stolen, I dont have a 3rd gen laying around so I dont have an installed pic just yet. I'm sorry it's so confusing for you. It's a simple device that takes 20 seconds to put on and saves you hundreds if you have to replace it. I've sold 135 of them for 2nd gens, it's the same concept just slightly different do to the difference in design, I will get an installed pic up as soon as I get a 3rd gen volunteer to model it.

    Some places are more than ever, the worst I've seen since making these (2nd gen), is Hawaii, believe it or not, in the 2nd gen thread there's a news clip about it.
