You are absolutely correct Jon. Please, I meant no ill will towards you or anyone. It's a freaking shame that those poor people are still suffering and dying 18 years later. I know what you do for a living and I respect that too. I was in your shoes once. Some people look down their noses at the job. I say bullshit. You are doing what you are doing because of the existence of the criminal element. Case closed.

To be honest. I wouldn't mind my taxes going up a little just so all military and first responders didn't have to pay them.

 

No explanation necessary. I was just venting because I see 9/11 as then final nail in coffin of my childhood. Columbine being the first nail. 6th and 7th grade forced my friends and I to grow up fast. I mean no ill to anyone involved or grieving 9/11. I'm just being a selfish manchild

 

OK, so I got permissions after the "+" and it said TTC calendar, so I added the RGV meet on the 22'nd. I guess I will wait, or log out or something similarly high tech!

The north/south bound highways are always slammed with traffic... moving east to west is much easier but north to south will age you...

this is a big reason i left the city and moved out closer to the "country"

Plus I work from home almost all the time these days... makes it much easier

Working from home sounds cool! That Austin traffic is the 2nd worst, only behind LA in California

 

I lived in Bee Cave for a year but recently bought a house further west. I usually go around the Marble Falls way

yeah it rocks to have the freedom. My office is on 6th and congress right smack in the center of downtown so its a giant PITA to go... i usually only go when the boss is in town

 

I almost crashed with a texter on Congress last time I was there to meet up with Chad
