Yeah I’m gonna try the old tack weld trick today. Just to be right you would go from bushing to lca not bushing to frame for any reason would you?

Lca cam bolts are sitting at about 120ft lbs right. Sway bar has been removed for a long time. After the last shop tightened the cam bolts the noise is definitely a lot quieter and softer sounding but still there. Gonna try this weld trick today and see if it gets it taken care of

Going to have to check my LCA BJ as well. I have a pop I have been chasing for a couple months.
I have moogs in rebuilt LCAs.
Thought it was coming from the back with the AAL I installed. Will have to check the front BJ for spinning.

I just had moog lower ball joints installed about 2 months ago. They seem to be doing fine. I think my noise is the lca bushings moving inside the lca. I’m just gonna go ahead and put a few tacks at each bushing front and rear. Fingers crossed that works.

As far as what your saying about the aal in the rear I was getting the same noise when my truck shook side to side. I bought some leaf spring clamps that stops them from twisting on each other. Mine haven’t popped since then. I’ll try to find the ones I ordered and send the info to you

The place I bought the leaf spring band clamps is scoutparts.com. They come in different sizes and I think I ordered the 1.75” wide clamps. Put one in front and behind the axle and no more leaf pop

Kind of have the same issue with mine. Could a bad steering rack make a similar noise?

Diff drops make angles worse. I've been lifted 3" for 2 years and never had an issue. Waste of money.

Well I’m 100% satisfied that it’s the moog lca bushings. After looking at them today both of the front ones but more the drivers side. The drivers side had actually popped about 1/8-3 1/16” out of the lca. The passenger side had a tiny gap between the bushing and lca.

I did get the drivers side to move in just a hair with a small pry bar. Put 2 tack welds on all four lca bushings and presto bammo no more pop. I know this is not the “correct” way to do this but it will definitely suffice till New lca’s come into play.
