Looking to replace the front camera I got with the anytime backup camera kit.

I want something with a large field of view like the fisheye lens on the backup camera.

    Any recommendations?

Here's a photo posted by another member here showing the view with the Nakita camera and the anytime backup kit.

As you can see, it's got a pretty large field of view.

Thanks to @Gen3TacomaOBX for his photo.

After considerable research on every similar form factor camera on Amazon (Canada)

I found this one on Amazon and was really happy with the improved fov and the little button controller to change settings like image shift, mirror, and the grid lines.

    https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B071XHK2NZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

It has way better fov than the claimed 170degree cameras. The 170degree turns out is the diagonal angle.

This one has a true 120 degree with a fisheye lens which is way bigger than the 170 degree claimed ones which I'll add is what the anytime full kit comes with. Such a marked improvement.

I wanted my front bumper visible for a point of reference on proximity.

It does but you need the anytime backup camera harness. I ordered their kit that comes with a camera but the camera wasn't very good so I bought this one. Used the same wiring that goes through the firewall so only has to rewire the portion under the hood

If you was wanting to do this mod I would recommend getting the kit that has everything BUT the camera then buy a good camera for it. The new camera also came with the wires that run through the firewall but I didn't use them.

Generally speaking, to do it properly, you need the harness, a switch (like an OEM style switch), and the camera with its wiring.

I think you would want the switch kit with no camera. https://www.anytimebackupcamera.com/products/anytime-backup-and-front-camera?variant=21463643947086

I see the confusion now, I was referring to this one. Don't need any switches or additional harnesses, cheaper than the anytime camera kit as well.
