    4 run, 2 don't
Is your regular cab a Prerunner?

5 lug Tacoma's are spring under axle versus spring over axle on 4x4's and Prerunners so you're dealing with different shock lengths (our trucks don't use struts).

I know the Tacoma front end is also different from a 5 lug to a 6 lug but can't exactly say what all is different.

Why not buy new shocks for your truck? OEM-equivalent aren't very expensive at all so I can't imagine having a use for suspension components from another truck which I assume you're wanting to do.

You have a 5 lug judging by your avatar pic.

    The answer is no.

Prerunners are identical to the 4x4s, just without the transfer case and front axles.

Nope. 5-Lugs are its own thing. They have very different suspension designs.

I was just curious, not many suspension upgrades for the 5 lug

There are at least a few guys who have turned their 5-lugs into pre-running monsters.

There is a 5-lug specific section I'd suggest you take a look at, too. Though most of those are likely to be street trucks.

IMO, unless you go all out, I'm just not sure it's worth trying to just lift the 5 lug for "moderate" off-roading. Better to just go with a stock 6 lug, lol.
