Did you just 3M the moldings? I want to take mine off, but they removed the tiny front clips when they installed it. I've had a hard time figuring out if you really need the clip. Thanks!

There are two separate coaxial plugs leading to the shark fin (FM and XM are built into the shark fin). Some folks are making a flat shark fin replacement, but for now, I opted to use the old stubby shark fin from the older tacomas. I lost FM reception, so I ended up plugging my shark fin directly into the back of the head unit. More on that here, here and here

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Thanks for the links. I did read those posts, but had trouble putting them together in my mind. I'll have to back and re-read.

We've used the Graco click connect system and it works pretty well: http://www.gracobaby.com/en-US/Infant-Car-Seats

You can get a base for the car/truck and stroller that that seat locks into. It allows you move the infant seat without taking the kiddo out of it. The base with the seat can fit in the middle of the back seat of the double cab Taco.

Based on that I have another 64,000 miles left on my factory brake pads on my 2016. I guess I will need to inspect my pads sometime in 2028. Just to be safe I will have a grandkid do a spot check for me in 2026. Good to know.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but found the dimensions for this ammo can, match up pretty well with the cubby hole behind the driver's side rear seatback. I'll fill this with some needed tools.

    1) Make sure to put a large towel under the car seat. Trust me on this one.
    2) You will eventually find Cheerios in places you couldn’t imagine.
    3) Oh yea, infant human vomit is like acid.
    4) And I wouldn’t change being a dad for ANYTHING in this world.
    Good luck!

Made a couple of filler pieces for the gap below the headlights. I used a GrillPro BBQ mat P/N 72596, a bit thin so the lower edge turned out rumply. At some point I'll make another set when I find some thicker rubber mat material.

Well for one thing it doesn't stick out 3 feet in front of the truck like yours.

Besides, where am I going to find a Pelfreybilt aluminum bumper for 3rd gen?

mine sticks out maybe 4” from the front. Maybe you’re getting confused with FabFours bumper.

Also, why not buy an Al bumper from a vendor who actually manages to stay in business?

Lol, measure from the front crossmember (where the 6 crash bar studs are)

I had the bumper already. I also have 2nd gen CBI sliders, 2nd gen wheels & tires, 2nd gen BudBuilt skids, 2nd gen trifold tonneau... all modified for 3rd gen by myself and installed in less than 8 months since I bought the truck, so I could put scratches on it off-road. Not going to wait half a year for something to be made.

I only made my own filler pieces because I didn't want to cut up my bumper cover just to get two 3" tall corner pieces. Good thing about these is they're very quick to reproduce on thicker/smoother material - just trace and cut.
