Nice! Subbed for the amount of pics.

What are the plans for all the through-metal rust?

Most has been removed and plated. Still have 6 inches in the driver floor and the shock tower mount was boxed out. Reinforcing some pitted areas on the driver side but it’s solid now. I’ll take some photos of the repairs.

My brother in law has a ranger similar issue. I called 5 plus fabricators before I found a reasonable and knowledgeable guy. About 1k invested in just fab but now I can focus on the rest. Fb marketplace is full of people looking for work

Dealing with a high idle issue. Swapped the AIC but I think the new switch is bad. Works intermittently well. Still idling around 1100 rpm. Sometimes up to 1400. Gonna try again with a new one but who wants to pull off the tb twice in one week!

These are my inspiration. Realized after the fact that factory finish is matte not glossy. Now I have to refinish everything.

Update on the idle issue. Turns out it’s my fault. Butterfly valve looks good actually. I ordered the wrong part. 1995-1996 has a slightly different idle motor than 97-04. Hopefully that solves the issue. Grabbing a fuel filter today and I’ll do them both together. Today I’m finally charging the AC as fall rolls in.

Seiler, awesome work man. I love the before / after pictures. Definitely keep it up.
I had to add...A+ on the interior redo.
I just wanted to point out one thing in the picture below. My AC line was slightly rubbing on the metal where it exits or enters the hole in the frame. I took a fuel line hose and cut in down the middle and wrapped around it to keep it from rubbing. My friends '04 rubbed a hole in the line at that spot.
