Seriously, his beard is almost as good as mine.

 

He looks like an awesome dog (friend). I forgot... did you give the back story on Draco? How old is he and why was he up for adoption? I rescued Gatsby (see below) from a local rescue as a pup and he has been the best dog ever!

Hehe... Gatby likes everyone except you. For whatever reason, he likes to growl at you. Like they say... dogs are good judges of character.

I do, so I'd have to say yes.

 

Draco is 6 according to his medical records. He got dropped off at the vet for a checkup and nobody came to claim him.

I have a suspicion that it was an elderly person(s) dog that passed away and the family didn't know what to do. He can get rambunctious if he isn't exercised often, and can get a little annoying since he is an attention hog. If you don't pet him for a while, he'll get lippy and fuss until you pet him. Think they just got tired of him. Regardless, he is well trained in basic dog commands (sit, stay, etc.)

Since I started walking him 2x a day for 30 mins each, he has really come a long way. Being a gundog, he needs a task and someone to be a firm but affectionate hand in his life. He does really well with my 730-430 absence hours M-F but today he was grouchy that I was leaving. He layed in front of the door so I couldn't open it and it took me a few tries to distract him enough I could slip out without too much fuss. He knows "puppy dog eyes" all too well too. Took a lot to not just call out this morning.

 

Did you need a tow?

 

Just testing out my backup winch. Draco without a prong collar could pull start the moon under the right conditions.

 

Yea, Mt. Zion, some of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen are hers. She's a fantastic person too.
