What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Do you need to modify to fit ??

 

Swapped out my old hydraulic oil soaked carpet for a 2015. I cut the very back of the 05 carpet to cover the spots where the new carpet doesn’t cover because it’s meant for the bucket 09+ bucket seats. Had to get a fresh set of weather techs so that they would work with the never floor mat holders. Plus the previous owner was using the rear mat from a double cab that didn’t quite fit so I replaced that too. Carpet matches the 2015 seat cloths I put on a few weeks back and has never looked so good since new.

 

From what I have read they are a perfect fit. 2nd gen and 3rd gen skids are interchangeable for the most part. Oil plug and everything.

Did an oil change and wash and wax.

 

How high u lifted

 

4inch Maxtrac spindles up front on stock OR 3rd gen shocks (roughly adds .75 inches) and ~3inch allpro standards in the rear

 

Yep looks like it fits , keep us updated I. Interested I just installed the 2nd gen Ted skid might need to step up to a 3rd gen

I just added these too! For a short driver with a lifted truck, this was an amazing addition.

Nah, I just waited a while until someone posted it for sale. I found the seat cloth on eBay a few months ago and the carpet a few weeks back. I did have to transfer over the rail clips that are stapled to the carpet which took an extra hour or so but all in all I'm happy with the result.

 

And he thought he was in India. And I thought my wife had a hard time navigating!
