Gave up on this. No updates and missed unveiling dates.

I was able to regear, lock and redo all the suspension on my truck with the money though:D

It'll come out. Marlin seems to be a mom'n'pop outfit vs companies that have a big parts volumes - I'm impressed they're actually taking so much time to release their stuff - I bought a long travel kit for my 2nd gen and my first gen has a fully fabbed setup and both could have benefited from a little more time before they were released.

Hoping... but not holding my breath.

Most of the big projects, I've started, are complete (or nearing completion). Next is Long Travel... would love it if this one came available.

IDK about first gens. I would be very surprised if they took the time to make a setup for them. Are you mainly looking for clearance?

Mainly looking for clearance, articulation, and possibly bigger tires.

Not looking at LT from a go fast perspective at all.

Also... actually forgot to list the MAIN reason I started to get curious on LT...

Dumping the piece of shit 1st gen lower ball joints.

key difficulty with 1st gen long travel is keeping the lower ball joint on a 4wd - there's a few kits with fabbed spindles that get rid of the lbj for prerunners - only Solo and Dirt Designs have a 4x4 kit that do that for first gens afaik. Dirt Designs is mucho cheaper - Solo's is $10k.

It's one of a kind, tbh one kit from them isn't big spending when you look at full prerunner builds here:

Oh I know how spendy things can get. But it just seems in comparison to Camburg, TC etc... they are a lot higher.

It may be comparing apples to pineapples... I get it. But the first impression is "damn!"

One thing I will say for Solo though is. I talked to one of their guys on the phone one day (might have even been the owner). Just picking his brain. The guy is cool as fuck... seriously, one of the coolest, most helpfull people I've ever spoken to involving anything related to a vehicle.

I think he did say his name was Bobby.

Seriously... that was about a year ago. And I was (and still am) super impressed with that dude.
