How long have you had the AL rad in there?

Did you do anything for a bushing?

The first one I had a little over 5k miles before it started leaking and the replacement one that I have now it been almost 5k and its starting to show small signs of leakage again. Will probably replace with a stock one sooner or later.

Its all the same mounting as stock. Only thing is if you have a 3.4 auto the radiator wont fit with you bottom hose. It will need to be cut or an new one will need to be ordered. Mine wouldn't work so I got one off an older 4runner. Cant remember what year it was.

I just put a champion radiator on too, didn't come with bushings, AL radiators must be mounted with bushings or they will fatigue and fail. Most modern vehicles have bushings for all style of radiators.

Installing a bushing is top priority for me.

It does add extra weight but in my opinion it makes accessing things in the back much easier with my set up. I bolted down two side mount tool boxes and also have 1 pelican case in the middle. Here are a few ways I had it set up. Also for longer trips I have a 5’ pelican case that fits perfectly between the tool boxes.

Were did you find the plug wires?
How do you like the 4.88's I'm debating on those or the 4.56.
What wires did you tap into for the key light? I have one on my Camry it's nice to have.

I pulled one of those out of a 4Runner and found the corresponding plug under my dash. I was surprised it was a plug and play modification.

Wires I first bought off ebay but they fell apart. Tossed em and bought this set at Auto Zone.
4.88 are awesome. If you plan to run 33s and have an auto transmission I definitely recommend it. Oh and make sure you add lockers while your at it. Lockers are game changers. Don't know what your missing until you get them.

Was it wired before you got the truck by someone else? or was this a stock option? Wonder how it works.
I made mine turn off when lights are on, this way the light ring is not reflecting on the windshield when driving at night.

I believe that most 95-00 are pre-wired for the light ring. It was an option on some trucks. It is activated from the integration module and comes on when you open the door. After you close the door it will turn off after 15-30 seconds.

That's pretty cool, you guys got lucky.
I did have a wire on the other side that didn't have anything to plug into. Still haven't figured out what it was for.
