I need a longer bar on my saw. Can barely cut off the tip of my dick with this 18".

 

Whelp. 'Check Engine' and 'Trac Off' lights popped on this morning. No symptoms while driving.

Plan on checking the gas cap and disconnecting the battery for a few minutes after work. Will head to Autozone to check codes if it's still there. Only thing done recently was an oil change on Sat.

Any 3rd gen'rs been through this already? Possibly a loose connection? I'm past my initial warranty.

 

Who knows of a decent guide to disable the TPMS?

I went with this and it worked great not that hard to do

 

Have the codes scanned before you disconnect the battery. If it's an EVAP code, probably the gas cap. Looks like you got gas recently.

 

Same shit happened to me couple of weeks ago, i try the gas cap, disconnecting the battery and nothing. took the truck out for a test drive and it went into a limp mode. i was like WTF man! Took it to the dealership and they said that it was the secondary air valve that went bad. They fix it all for free cuz of warranty on those or some shit...

 

Lol. It’s a google image. But, I did get gas this weekend. Thanks for the heads up on the battery. I’ll try the gas cap and then head over to get the codes checked.

You know if yours happened to fall within the CA emissions warranty (seven years / 70K)?

I had same thing on a second gen tacoma and it turned out to be maf flow sensor had a bad connection somehow became unplugged
