    Hi All -

I've finally bit the bullet and bought a Tacoma! I have wanted one for a few years now, so I just put a deposit on a used 2010 with 2500 miles on it from a local dealer.

    It's a 2010 Access Cab SR5 with 2500 miles on it (6cyl, 4WD, Auto) Speedway Blue! :)

    Price $25,500
Question 1 - do you guys think that's a fair offer (I thought so)

Question 2... (This one I don't get) is that it has a Hood Scoop but it DOES NOT have the TRD SPORT logo on the back. It also has the tow hitch and rear power...

So I'm really not sure if it actually is a TRD Sport or not, can the logo be removed?

    Here are some pics...

Also I have found this forum to be very helpful already, haven't picked up the truck yet and I have already order a NAV for it based on reading up on Audio section... So Thanks Everyone!

Somebody could have removed the bedside TRD decals ( it's easy , I took mine off )

    Thanks OZ-T!
I was thinking that but wasn't sure if it was painted on or not, also I wasn't sure if there was any way of getting the hood without the TRD Sport Package. If that's the case its a little disappointing, I liked the sticker...

Looking forward to some good time here, I must have spent 5 hours on this forum since Sunday! I used to spend a lot of time on Maxima.org before I moved on!

Got the color matched bumpers, higher suspension, hood scoop, Sport wheels and smoked headlights. Either someone removed the sticker or went to a hell of a lot of trouble to make an SR5 look exactly like a Sport :D

Also looks like they ditched the mudflaps and added a chrome tailgate handle. I assumed it wasn't a 4x4 since it has the stock AT20s on it. Did the 4x4 come with Dunlop AT20s? Is it really a 4x4?

Look to the right of the steering wheel.. that switch is a dead giveaway it is 4x4.

Yep, I missed that... I was trying to see the switches on the left but the steering wheel covered it. Good eye!

Definitely a 4x4 since I tried that out when I drove it... missed the fact it doesn't have mud flaps.

The previous owner bought it in January and got rid of it after 2500 miles and 6 months. The truck is in perfect shape (very clean)... what do you guys think of 25K for it?

~$28-29k new is the best discount price I found online for those so $25k with only 2500 miles sounds like a good price.

Thanks Slurpee... That's what my thinking was so I'm happy to pick it up. I am passing along my 09 FX35 for the Tacoma (the girl is getting the FX), I really wanted the Tacoma and am ready to start modding it... NAV and HIDs are the first things to come!
