Someone on this site converted hooked a couple of extra jets to their windshield washer pump for their headlights. Could probably do something similar for the radar sensor.

I'm curious if the 2020's LED headlights have heaters in them or not... if no heaters would be useless in this weather...

Just spent the past hour having a blast in the snow! A lot of roads in Hamilton have not been plowed and it's a blast. Lol watching all these people try and drive in this is hilarious...

Sooo glad I put snow tires on the wife's car yesterday... lol she is a feeb in the snow. Plus drives a VW bug, traction control in that thing is brutal, if you can't get traction to get started, it ain't gong anywhere, and no traction off button, have to shut the engine off, turn on hazard lights, turn ignition on without starting the engine, stomp the gas 4 times, then start the engine to turn off traction control for 5 mins or 35km/hr.

I was thinking about adding another hose in the line and aim it at the emblem. So whenever I use windshield washer it also washes sensor. Like the Lexus cars have aimed at the headlights.
C'mon we got bunch of engineers and people with degrees here, design it! I gave you an idea :gossip::spy:

None of you clearly met Humvee owners, those guys drive from gas station to another gas station.

    Speaking of car jokes:
    - Why Land Rover owners don't say hello to each other in the afternoon?
    - Because they've seen each other at the dealer in the morning! :rimshot:

You youngsters think you can keep up with us old guys...

We were lazy and engineering before you were born!

You know.... if you chop that sensor off, you might be able to fit bigger tires... :sawzall:

It isn't as big a problem as some make it out to be. Mine came with eBay LED bulbs in the stock projectors from the dealer. I had no problems with snow caking over the headlights last winter.

But agreed, this is pretty easy to do: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/retrofit-headlight-washer-jet-on-tacoma.608877/

We clearly can fit 35s and 37s, unlike senior citizens here

I sure need to find a way to chop that entire system, not looking forward paying $1000 to replace my windshield eventually when the crack from 2018 fall finally goes on driver side and starts bothering me. Right now it takes entire passenger side in all planes :annoyed:

Turn it off in techstream and then a spot of tape or paint over the light. Sell camera and Radar on Kijiji use $$ to buy windshield... or gas...

Well, I like that thing.... it sees wildlife way before I do at night when I blast on the backroads. Saved me at least 4 times now from hitting things.

    speaking of cracks :annoyed:

Just got back from first recovery of the season! (buddy RWD genesis couldn't get up the fucking hill :sadviolin:).

Now the crack is across the windshield :ohsnap:

Get a lightbar, and keep your eyes on the road...

OUCH! Does overland paste come in clear?

Glad to see you're helping the traction challenged! Russian Boyscout.

pff, I have something better than all those chinisium light bars - Iggy lights!
    598126D8-67D6-47ED-8EDD-D9A3997C0943.jpg

But even then, tss based on lidar system and sees much further than any light bar can shine at and arms the brakes by the time I hit them so there is no delay in stopping.

Overland paste doesn't not, but the new "mall paste" might!

    go scouts! :headbang:
