They’re all over base, even since September. This was last year. I’m patiently waiting for this year’s antics.

Yeah I know my truck is in good shape and I was the last one to work on the suspension with hand tools and a torque wrench. When Firestone told me they couldnt undo the one bolt, I just said ok and picked it up, didnt even bother asking. Im sure they had the wrench on the locking nut and the actual cam adjustment nut (what your picture is) at the same time.

Per Toyota the 30k is oil/filter, air filter, cabin filter, top off fluids, and other BS stuff like tire rotation. Recommend brake fluid flush and "fuel system check" but not necessary. My brake/coolant/PS fluids all look practically new so Im not going to flush them just yet. As for diff/t-case/trans I will think about that in the relatively near future, 30k seems overkill to me.

Getting the final free service 25k service on Monday.

Got them looking at the hood flutter at freeway speed and over bumps, see what they see.

I would just jam some permatex in there to fix it, but let’s see what they do.

Afterward all the service is on me, time for a oil filter cover and fumoto valve!

I recall seeing this is a common issue and "normal" per Toyota. My truck does it but minimally compared to what others have experienced.

It’s only annoying when it’s clean and sun hits the hood, then at freeway speeds it vibrates pretty good.

Oh and the dryer fans at the car wash make the hood dance the mamba, so there is that.

What Acura dealership? You are right about the snack bar. I've gotten 6 vehicles from Acura of Peoria. 3 of which were big 3 American duds. Cobalt, Explorer and Buick Enclave. Also a Mazda 3 (before the big smile) that was a decent car. When the time comes for another I'll be going back there.

Any suggestions for some weekend road trips in January? I'd like to head up to Utah but I'm thinking it will be too cold and snowy for the wife. I'd also consider ABQ, Santa Fe, or even SoCal--although we've been there plenty of times so I'd rather do that when we have more time to explore. We don't have to go out of state but I do want something that I gotta drive for at least a couple hours to get there.

Yeah I did a bit of Googling and Bisebee definitely looked interesting. I might go with that and the Kartchner Caverns. I was also thinking of a longer drive up to St. George, Utah, but that might be better for a longer trip where we can go to Zion National Park while we're up there.

Banned because of the constant bullshit. I have plenty of disagreements with members without hitting the eject button. Constant Staff bashing.....different outcome.

Again, here is the code of conduct here at TW.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacomaworld-code-of-conduct.17179/

The atmosphere at Tacoma World is meant to be welcoming and friendly to anyone who visits. Therefore, the staff of this site have laid out the following guidelines:

Use of offensive and inflammatory language, discussions or content targeting an ethnic, political or religious group, gender, sexual orientation, name calling and humiliating or bashing members, this includes targeting threads or tagging members to join in to demean, degrade or detract from the topic is prohibited in the forums of Tacoma World. Political discussion, talk or displays of reckless driving, street racing and excessive speeding are also not permitted on Tacoma World. Discussions, links, pictures and videos of illegal activities are not permitted on Tacoma World

Personal attacks or threats against other members will not be tolerated and generally results in expulsion from the site.

Any link pertaining to affiliate links, self-promoting links including YouTube channels, or Crowdsource fundraiser links of any kind are not permitted without prior approval by the staff. This includes personal fundraising through GoFundMe, Patreon, etc. This applies to any fund raising means as well; such as raffles, lotteries, etc.

Fundraising accounts should be for legitimate needs (mainly life/safety contributions. House lost in fire, medical care, etc.) and must have prior approval from the TW staff. The reasoning for this is the staff have recently noticed someone create a "GoFundMe" account at the reasoning of ""Saw another TW member doing it so I figured what the hell why not lol." This is NOT a GoFundMe forum and we are not about asking for handouts.

Should you have reason to take issue with a thread or post content, please discuss it with the Site Administrator or Moderators. Do not feel obligated or empower yourself to deal with the issue on their behalf. Such action will not be tolerated since it quickly spins out of control and the consequences are irreversible. Such unwarranted action almost never remedies the issue but hurts and brings disrepute to all of us Tacoma owners and enthusiasts.

Images or discussions that are questionable or sexual in nature DO NOT belong on the forum. Images of persons wearing bathing suits are permissible presuming there is no excessive cleavage, buttocks, or other items of that nature deemed that may be inappropriate. "Thread baiting" with use of 'sexy pictures' is not to be conducted.

The word "would" should not be added after a photo as it only asks for unnecessary comments.

A vast cross section of people browse this popular site from their places of work and/or homes where co-workers or family members are in close proximity. These members should not have to worry about potentially embarrassing images appearing on their screen as a result of careless posting.

Links that are not safe for work "NSFW" are also not permitted here, at TacomaWorld.com.
Any violation of the guidelines set out above will be dealt with by the moderators at their own discretion, including permanently banning members who decide to go against the rules and spirit of the site.

Tacomaworld Buy/Sell/Trade rules apply to all subforums and threads on Tacomaworld. Please review B/S/T rules before posting a classified add.

Some useful links regarding the rules and atmosphere here at Tacomaworld:

Seems like we have a tale as old as time...again... much like the 1930-40s in Eastern Europe.

Nothing has changed on this site. Yes, someone crosses a line and the mods do their job and clean things up. However, they stick around and instigate people. Show the internet that they are watching. THIS is what starts to frustrate the masses, someone decides to vent a little to much for the mods and then they ban them too. Now, people are frustrated with the constant cycle.

I have been a member of this site for many many years. It is always changing, people come and go, sometimes by their own life changes and sometimes because of the BS. However, the last year or so has been the worst. Many good members of this site were removed, we survived. Since then more and more seem to be getting picked off, some for good reason and some not. Funny, it isn't the old school mods that have been around for a long time that come in here and keep instigating people, its the younger bucks.

That is the main reason I only come around one or twice every couple of days, still some good people.

Like was already said by one of them, don't criticize the mods or else. Don't ask questions or else.
