I was thinking the same while doing the SAC. I did the Tundra upgrade years before and it still works well. After all, staying with Toyota parts is easier as I already have a shitload of non-Tacoma part numbers to keep track of.

After all these years and people still say that:mad:
As others have said most aluminum wheels fit.

This has pretty much everything you need to know.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Tundra upgrade is only for 6 lug trucks.

BUT, there is a big brake option for 5 lugs. Takes a little more work (mainly machining the rotors) but it's still bad ass and pretty much bolt on. You'll need to jump to 17's though...

New shoes today. STT Pro's in the stock variety (31x10.50r15). I didn't realize how out of balance the old shoes were until I drove it home. Night and day. I can't remember when my taco drove this smooth!

Looks right, did you notice how the V6 is super heavier than the 4 cyl? :jerkoff:40 lbs heavier. I saw it documented a few years ago and posted it here I think as well. So for lift consideration, consider the extra cab tacos equal.

And the weight is shared, though prolly 30 lbs stays up front and divided by 2, each coil over will see an additional 15 lbs, give or take

Replaced my old methods with some Mickey Thompson wheels and threw some new nittos on while I was at it.

I believe that is the one I'm running. I've had zero problems with it.

    Of course you wont.

Because you wont be able to.

Because Tundra brakes don't work on Solid Axle.
