Didn't get an alignment. Getting ready to do LBJ's and a bunch of other work up front in the next couple of weeks. Planning on getting one done after.

hm doesn't have my taco on there. But can't be much more than the I4 reg cab weight.

still only 100lbs difference from an xtra cab? Seems..odd. I mean that a lot more cab, plus the interior and a section of frame to boot. Interesting for sure. It definitely feels lighter.

That worries me. We have an 01 and 02 as well. Makes me want to pick up a 2000 if I can get one with no accidents and low miles and restore it slowly. WTF

I traded my 2018 for a 2001. They gave me a credit when I registered it. The gear hunting made everyone sick In The truck going up to the mountains.

I did however supercharge it. I need some power. Got tired of being Cut off. Now it’s perfect.

When I pull up at the job with an older truck, people are nicer too. I didn’t expect that. But I like it.

That’s very true. I’ve seen some amazing older trucks. And mine drive like a new truck I can say. I re-did the suspension and supercharged it and dropping the hammer and passing Chevy and dodge trucks.

No one in their right mind would supercharge a truck that’s 18 years old with 150k miles and have Tacoma World or any forum say “do it, it’s a great idea” unless it’s a 1st gen Tacoma.

Got a battery that can handle the winch, then I see a thread that says AGM batteries need a higher charging voltage (14.4-14.8V) than stock Tacoma’s produce (14.0-14.4V) provide so I need to buy a voltage booster or it will result in reduced battery life or performance.

Anyone running an AGM battery that can confirm or deny before I drop another $50 +S&H for this thing?

I've never heard anything about AGM's needing a higher charging voltage. Plenty of mostly drop-in alternator swaps like the Jaguar X-Type on the 2RZ-3RZ, and the Suzuki Grand Vitara/Cadillac DeVille for the 5VZ.
