    I believe its for the 2013 trucks that had issues with spark knock on the factory ecu. My 2013 did the same thing but i started running premium instead of getting the TSB (solid choice looking back)

    I don't know about all that. I had spark knock issues from the very beginning with my truck, I don't think I ever addressed it but as soon as I got flashed over to the TRD tune the issues went away entirely which tells me that those knock issues are 100% related to garbage tuning from the factory.

    Yeah no for sure. That's like their PCM issues that they have had with codes involving EVAP and a constant PWM duty cycle for the purge solenoid in models 2000-2005 I want to say, but they addressed a TSB for just 2000-2001 if I remember right on several models. The issue was definitely more widespread though.

    Oh Toyota. What a feeling. Lol.

    Me neither, I thought it be like reflashing my powerstroke with a sct tuner effectively.

    Could very will be any 1gr my12 and up w/the extra emissions crap. I bought my 09 used yrs ago so I'm not sure if its be recall reflashed (I believe it has) but just wanted to be prepared it I needed to get a new ecu, re key it, etc in addition to blower install.

    Can anyone confirm the ARP exhaust studs for our trucks? The link earlier to Amazon shows a set that is listed for an LS engine and makes no mention of thread pitch. I don’t mind buying new studs and will take the recommendation but I would be stunned if LS engines used the same studs as 1GRs.

    Just about every Tacoma variant (model year, auto, M/T, 4WD, etc) has its own specific ECU and "tune," with unique Calibration IDs. As I recall, these are what Techstream verifies before permitting flash of the ECU.
    T-SB-0044-14 applied to 2012-2014 Tacomas. In my case, running premium didn't eliminate the knock, which is why I made the strategic mistake of having my original ECU updated. :frusty:

    I think I only counted six studs since the instructions only mention replacing the three lower studs on each side.

    The wiring harness extensions to mount the O2 sensors in the collector of the header vice the middle tube.

    Thanks brother. I ordered a set from URD last night. Hopefully they make it by Saturday.

    I can take pictures of mine when I get back home, but they come with new header to y-pipe gaskets, six studs, nuts and washers. I need to confirm there are only six and not twelve, implying there were only enough to replace the bottom six. Mine are for a 12-15 SAIS capable system and all the studs are the same length, which only applies to the bottom three on the passenger side of the engine.

    wow. be careful with fedex and insure your valuables. 1st order had almost a full gallon of methanol lost due to damage. second order (replacement) came today. this time another gallon wasted. caps were not on tight. wtf?
