My brakes are starting to suck. Gonna have to replace the rotors next time anyway. Thinking about the tundra upgrade. Will stock 16” sr-5 wheels clear the calipers? I’ll hang up and listen to your answer.:gossip:

I deleted my second post and edited my first one. I thought you were talking about this package.

Those Goodyear Adventure All Terrain w/Kevlar are a highly rated tire and that is a pretty excellent deal with the wheels too. You can get (4) TPMS off ebay for $140 new. But yours should swap over, then sell your setup for $500 LOL

I am definitely the wrong person to ask about this.

@EatSleepTacos Hey Rand, Big Brake Kit on a 2nd Gen. Will it work with 16" OEM wheels?

If you're talking about those Duratracs and SCS wheels then go buy one of those food saver kits first because I'm keepin' my nuts.

If Randy hasn't already passed out from drinking too many Truleys he will chime in I am sure. He does drink a lot of flavored malt liquor now that he's a civilian though.

Don’t know the man, and he could probably kill me in a dozen different ways with his bare hands, good thing there’s +-200 miles between us, but he needs to stop advertising his proclivity for foo foo drinks. Just say whiskey straight! He must be very comfortable with his manhood :boink:

    anybody got any mirrors?

Was making a pass with clay on my roof in preparation for a pre winter detail, and fell into the side of the truck and took the mirror off with my shoulder. It cut the wires as well, so now I have not choice but to replace it.

For us the “big brake kit” would be jumping up to 4Runner calipers. All bolt in, but you need 17s.

Also I love delicious drinks :D can’t help it. Enjoy a good scotch too. I’m not too terribly picky.
Mirror breaking bro’s! I have now broken my drivers side mirror twice off-road. It’s been replaced with a TYC and while the fit and finish is great, it’s very minorly different. And the glass shakes around a little at highway speed. Knowing you, I would only replace with oem if that’s what is on the other side. Hope you can find one.

Stoptech makes BBKs and SOS performance sells kits....but i would upgrade to a tundra master as well...from @SMKYTXN if he still sells them....https://sosperformance.com/t/tacoma

Yes, that we are. Not a club that I wanted to be a member of. <3

You know me, i'm so anal...i'll end up replacing both so that they match. Might buy a cheap chinese one like that for $50 or so that way it'll hold me over and piss me off enough to finally get a set of 2012-15 mirrors and some primer'd covers to have professionally color matched. :anonymous:

He just started drinking them so he hasn't built up a tolerance yet. He can get a little crazy from time to time too! I'd trust him with my life and my truck though. :hattip:
