I'm sure he makes enough stock to sell close to depletion to A) Make sure he doesnt spend his own money to have stock sit on shelves, especially since he updates them constantly B) Keeps the interest going, without interest, there is no market.

Plus hes not going to put something out there that's garbage. He spends alot of time with R&D and fitting.

Does anyone know if there are a couple of versions of the taco shark fin?

I did a GIS and I see some with only 1 coaxial connector, like for AM/FM, but maybe no sat radio.

Pictures and links to my replacement here. The 3rd gen is different from the two 2nd gens. Two coaxial connectors as seen in my post here. Also, Gen3 SR model doesn't have the XM... :notsure:

Thanks... I did read your posts with great interest a while back, but I was still a bit confused (mainly with Gen2 vs. Gen3). Now that I'm a little better informed, I should go through them again.

You've already cleared up one thing, though, and that's why I was seeing Gen3 antenna fins with either one or two coax cables (SR models don't have sat radio so one cable, duh, I did not know this).

I'm going to put a little rudder on mine to help with steering.

I started a thread about the 2020 Shark fin being moved further into the truck making the factory roof rack incompatible and Toyota did not know about this at the time I purchased my truck I could get some picks but it is identical to the 2019 just roughly 1.5" further into the truck.

Also Interested in a no port shell/ low profile option- maybe without the up top. Or did you sign a no compete type contract.

there’s a similar (as in low profile) for the 2nd gen but the fins are different unfortunately.

it’s been awhile since you put something out that I had to have (have a good majority) so this would be nice… just saying
