Not KBVoodoo. It’s a Mobtown OffRoad Rack. Better quality. It has aluminum crossbars versus the cheap ones from KBVoodoo.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I don’t mind at all. I paid $2600 for gears, ecgs needle bearing, and labor.
This is the best upgrade I have made to my truck. The shitty ass trans isn’t shifting all over the place and I can actually hold gears going up hills, without it downshifting and kicking up into some crazy RPMs.
The truck now drives and pulls like it should have from the factory.
I had gone too far down the rabbit hole to let it go, so I had to do it or I was gonna go mad!

What bed rack and cargo rack did you go with? I've been thinking about going this route. Nice wheels!

3” lift, 265/70/16 Wildpeak ATs on stock dipped SR5 wheels (for now). Meso stuff (puddle pods, Gasshole, stage 1 taillights) Pro grille, 5% tint, some other stuff
I had to have mine replaced a few weeks ago. The only positive to it was it motivated me to tint the entire windshield instead of just doing the top strip

Mornin' Bud! I'm here, just busy with the holidays and trying to beat mother nature before things get really nasty in my neck of the woods. Just got caught with my britches down this year. The weather and my days off just didn't align very well so I'm further behind than usual. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Lately my free time has been consumed with running back and forth to the dealership for service and trying to get my TSB stuff taken care of. Spent almost 4 hours there yesterday to get my computer flashed for the studder on acceleration (manual tranny) in 2nd gear and the clutch creak taken care of only to find out that the bushing didn't come with the rest of the parts. So far I've been patient. It is the holidays and stuff does happen so...........
Told them to call me when they have ALL the parts to do the job. If they were close by it wouldn't matter but they're not so getting me there repeatedly to get things taken care of is bothersome. On the upside they finally did flash the computer but only after a lot of discussion.
Appreciate the shout out and I haven't forgotten about the friends that I've made here. You're all in my thoughts and prayers especially during this holiday season!

Tell me about this: "Spent almost 4 hours there yesterday to get my computer flashed for the studder on acceleration (manual tranny) in 2nd gear..." I think I have the same issue, it studders a bit in the lower RPM's then breaks free as the RPM's climb? I mentioned it to the dealer and they said this happens as the trucks are programmed to run at higher RPM's. Not having found this site, I didn't know better and was just happy to be out of my Focus. - Thanks.

Well the proof is in the pudding on this one, unfortunately the pudding is still on the stove. They clearly didn't want to do the flash. Said because the code didn't come up on their scan that it wasn't an issue.
The problem is going full throttle on take off after shifting to 2nd, seems like either the engine is either starved for gas or momentarily flooded. Will this flash take care of it? Only time will tell, it's very difficult or nearly impossible to replicate when you try to it just happens in it's own time. I really won't know more until I drive it more. It seems to be a fairly common problem in the 6 speed manual. My buddy and hunting partner has the same Tacoma (different dealership) and the exact same problem, drives him nuts and he's anxiously waiting to see if this remedies the situation. All I can say for now is we'll have to wait and see.
I realize that's not the answer you were hoping for but it's the best I can offer for now.
I will tell you that his dealership is pushing back on doing the flash as did mine. Guess I'm just a little more persistent.

I got mine from JackalPerfandGraphix on Etsy. A friend of mine suggested him, he got his Tundra decals from him a few years ago and they still look new. I was very happy with the buying process, highly recommend.

Thanks, and keep us posted. I drove a 2014 and 2016 Focus with that horrid trans in it, and this gives me flashbacks. I asked because it isn't a full time thing, as you said. But it is as you said, like is flooded or trying to die. Besides that, I absolutely love my truck.
