Damn yeah that'll definitely do it haha. As you know, there's not much clearance between the skid and the t-case so when I smacked mine hard on a rock it pushed it up enough to rub against the tcase. Made some awful sounds on the freeway ride home after that trail run...I thought something bad was seriously wrong. Was happy to see it was just the skid rubbing the case. Had a shop press it flat again and haven't had that issue since, but those reinforcements you put on will definitely keep that from ever happening

The reason I put those on was because the same thing had happened to me. And I have gotten damn close to it touching again, even with the reinforcements. :anonymous:

Another big dumb question, but when you have skids all the way down the underside of the truck, how do you clean out mud and dirt? Just don't?

powerwash above them and let it drain for a quick wash, or remove and clean with a full clean i'm assuming. Most are bolt on

If I get under the truck I can still spray between the skids and equipment, just not as easily. But yeah things tend to stay more dirty under there unless you take the skids off and really give it a good cleaning.

Hung a new door today! Replaced the glass in it as well. Going to take a little getting used to after looking at the old doors for so long.

Haha man that scaffolding is so extra, I took my door off to swap power stuff into it once. Got it done with two people, wasn’t easy - but it worked.

Did you put my old rotors on yet?

I didn't have the extra manpower, did it solo so the scaffolding was key!

No rotors on yet, still stockpiling parts for the front-end rebuild...need to place one more order with Camelback Toyota for the last OEM bits...

Changed the shifter seat and bushing on newly acquired 03 AC Sr5 4cyl 5spd. Still hard to get into first when at a stop. Gears go in smoothly when running, not so much when downshifting. What else should I look at?

Installed my Rigid Flood pods in the new bumper. Hopefully I will get them wired tomorrow.

My stock UCA/UBJ are not in great shape and I picked up the used Camburgs for less than what I was going to spend on something else, figured I would give them a try. What would you have gone with?

If it's not a mechanical issue, folks have had real good luck smoothing out their notchy shifts with changing out the gearbox oil for RedLine MT90 fluid.

You can also try to bleed the system with new fluid and adjust pedal height if needed.
