Apologize if i use the wrong terminology here but.. Anyone add keyless entry to an SR that already has power locks? I have a key but no remote for the locks. Is that a simple addition?

I'd just install a car alarm. Pick one with a remote size you like. You can install the bare essentials - no siren/use the vehicles horn - in order to have the remote entry you want. I did this on a few of my cars in the past and loved that I could open the driver door or all the doors with just the press of a button - even from quite a distance away.

I liked the deck tcBob made for a dog in the extended cab. I’ve made a dog kennel for my Double Cab Tacoma. It’s got water proof seat coverage, seat belt access, partition, and door protection.

Doggo door panel conveniently slides out for quick entry and exit while providing paw scratch protection.

Anyone have any issues with their audio telling you the length of a song? Mine always does it and it’s annoying. The little tracker showing the length of the song is never right. It either says the song is way longer than it is or it says it’s way shorter and when the song continues to play the countdown starts count upward.

I had a similar problem when I would use an app other than Apple's 'Music' app on my iPhone to play the music to my truck's [OEM] headunit. When I use the Apple app, it works without issue. I had previously been using 'SoundHound' app to play my music, and this app often had problems working with my truck.

2019 Tacoma SR Utility long bed Upgrades and Add-ons
I'm new to the forum having just bought my first Tacoma a couple months ago. Found this forum, it's been a big help to me, so I thought I would share the inexpensive upgrades/add-ons I've done so far. I've always wanted a Tacoma due to the reliability, love this truck, best I've had so far (GMC, F150, and Colorado were my previous trucks). The only thing I didn't like are the dim low beams during night driving. So of course that's in my list of upgrades below:

Tacoma Bed Extender, installed by dealer (included with purchase)

    Kraco sunshade p/n 111106
. 23” tall x 57.5” wide. Fits Tacoma very well.
Bought at Oreilly’s Auto Parts, don’t see it in stock there anymore but available elsewhere.

GE Megalight Ultra H11 +130% Light Car Headlight Bulbs (Twin) 53110XNU
Noticeable improvement on low beams for night driving compared to OEM, not as much as I had hoped however.

JDMCAR Center Console Organizer Insert Dividers Compatible with Toyota Tacoma 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020
Perfect fit for my 2019 Tacoma, have to read instructions closely or you will not be able to install. Great way to organize into six smaller compartments. Only con is that after install, hard to reach the USB ports in the center, best to plug your cord in and leave it plugged in. Really makes the deep console compartment usable and well organized.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L2S16NH/

Vehicle OCD - Center Console Organizer Tray for Toyota Tacoma (2005-2015) and (2016-2020)
Perfect fit for my 2019 Tacoma, slides easily front to back so you can access any of the sections in the divider below. As some reviewers noted it’s pricey for a piece of plastic, but it does have a rubber like pad in the bottom. No regrets, great compliment to the dividers above.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074MLGBXJ/

    On order:

Philips H9 Standard Halogen Replacement Headlight Bulb – style 12361/H9
Philips H9 bulbs for H9 to H11 low beam conversion I’ve read about here and seen youtube videos on. Looking forward to see how these do compared to the GE +130 bulbs. The price is right and the conversion appears easy enough.

Not sure I follow. What do you mean by “size you like”?

I got the security system and remote start the dealership offered. It works ok but the distance blows, even with brand new batteries. I’d love to increase the distance if possible.

He was asking about the easiest way to add a keyless remote (unlock/lock) to his truck. I suggested he add a simple alarm system with a remote size he liked - you know - some alarm remotes can be pretty bulky...

    Good morning Y’all!!
Not sure if this is the correct thread or another is out there, but I’m looking to lift my 19 TRD Off road. I have a buddy who owns a mod shop, but need to start researching lift kits before heading over there (he mostly works with GM). Anywho, can anyone give me some suggestions or a point in the right direction on brands or specs to look out for?
    Super appreciate the help!
    Have a great week!! :thumbsup::rofl:
