    Hello all! So got a Tacoma recently and well come to find out the lights are taped on! Does any one have a way to get or or have any extra retainer clips? Dealer says I have to buy the while housing. Any help is appreciated.

    Honestly, you're probably due for new housings anyway (old/fogged lenses). I'd recommend a set of CAPA certified TYC housings from Rockauto. Mine were like $40 a piece, and the quality was indistinguishable from OEM.

    No, all the ones I have are different in some way. Not sure any will work. Even my old 98 headlights have a different clip. Sorry.

    I forgot to look but mine aren’t held on by a screw. I should have 4 of them since I replaced my headlights when I did the retrofit so two used two new. I’ll make sure I look today

    A galvanized sprinkler marker flag from the Home Depot sprinkler section would be a nearly perfect material aside from the fact it is not stainless steel.
