Just got two-three inches here in moose country

craziness. Im in Indy. we got 4 inches Sunday night, which is unusual enough for these parts. I've seen that maybe 3 times in the 4 winters I've put in here. 26 degrees currently, heading to 6 overnight, then up to the 40's for a few days. Should lose most of the snow soon enough. Too early for this mess.

I'm a New Hampshire boy, so the snow is no bother, it's just that here in flyover country, there's nothing to do when it snows, and you'd think the locals were all from Florida.

 

Yeah we just got light fluffy stuff. Had a whole bunch of rain last week and lost all our snow from November.

 

I'll have to post another pic, my rig looks more like a two tone brown/white mashup from the roads today. New frame here I come!

Interesting,never noticed any before, I'll be looking at all the other Tacomas a little closer now.

How's this thread truckin' along Bill?

 

So I'm with you...this is one item that has real value that I wish my '13 SR5 had. There is a thread going where guys are trying to get these mirrors on their trucks.

It seems that even on trucks with out the signal-mirrors, the proper connectors are in place but they're not tied in to the harness. I'm actually considering buying the aftermarket mirrors and seeing if my truck is 'live'. Some guys have found it to be so.

Seems odd they would make a vast array of harness's for the trucks. I'm thinking that perhaps the correct harness is a function of the trailering package, which my SR5 has.

FWIW, even if I go with aftermarket side mirrors with turn indicators, I'll consider myself stock. Jus' sayin'

Probably one of the largest snow boogers I've accumulated on any vehicle so far. Just got another 4 inches of the white stuff (not from Columbia.) I'm not sure how long the rig will stay stock with the amount of oil it's drinking currently.
