We must go to the same dealership.

If they didn't bother to call you before you drove 50 minutes to get there without telling you all the parts DIDN'T come in......., then it IS the same dealership!

On the upside after the 2nd trip for the same problem, no more creaking clutch pedal!:yay:

I'm still expecting and waiting for this problem. It’s making me paranoid.

I'm crossing my fingers that isn't going to be the case since the truck is still new and I haven't tried yet. I'm not one of those guys that has to change the oil myself (but I definitely have to double check the job they do), because sometimes the dealer is cheaper than the supplies alone. But I'll pass when it turns into an inconvenient ordeal. My wife has a CR-V and the nearest Honda dealer is a legitimate service shop, very quick, and cheap ($25 for an oil change). Same for my last Chevy- a $45 full synthetic oil change in about 45 minutes.

Not to worry it's a well documented (TSB) problem and repaired under warranty.
Doesn't affect the operation of the clutch pedal at all it's just annoying. Mine was intermittent and I couldn't find a repetitive set of circumstances where it would occur, sometimes it would creak and other times it would seem fine.

The creak will return. It always does. Get some white lithium grease spray and expect to reapply every 6 months.

20K on mine so the dealership and I are done as far as oil changes go, I'll do my own from here on every 5k just as it has been done up to this point. Now I can put my pro skid on without worrying about any crossthreading or having an entry level employee spewing oil all over the place. In addition to the skid being put on a Fumoto valve will be added to the oil pan as well as a cartridge cover from Jowett Performance and I'll be rocking on oil changes. Doing my own every 5k also allows me to keep an eye on what's going on underneath that otherwise might go undetected.

No doubt it will return at some point but as long as it's under warranty they will get it back, I don't care how many times they have to do it.
Once out of warranty either white lithium or powdered graphite will take care of the problem. Prefer the graphite over the grease, it doesn't attract dirt or dust.

Didn't plan an install video but I will take pics of the progress. I'm still waiting for the sso bumper. It has been 3 months since I ordered it. I should have the bumper in about 1 more month.

SSO Is my front bumper of choice, now if I can only get them to make me one that has a 2" tube instead of a cutout for a winch!
