Wheel spacers will definitely promote trimming.

Redid all my light bar wiring and installed an spod. Wish I would have done this from the beginning. My god it’s so simple and organized.

Yes, but a necessary evil when running stock wheels. Eventually I'll go with an aftermarket wheel with the proper backspacing, and the trimming will already be done :)

As others have said, reduce the preload on the springs and coilovers you have now. I’d do this before replacing springs....

Very true! I forget I got lucky with my Methods being 0" offset and 4.5 back spacing. With 285/70/17 (33") I've only lost the front mud flaps. Actually they were taken care of by wheeling flex which removed them and left them on the trail! No CMC yet, but probably will do it just to ensure all around clearance. No contact as of yet. Good luck with your wheel choice! Merry Christmas and maybe if you were a good little boy/girl you'll get those wheels!

I am going to try, but i already have the max amount of take I want otherwise it will just look funny so if it drops way to low I'm going to put them back up and look into the 700lb coils

Got my front seat jackers from @EasyDoesIt installed today. Started to install my TRD skid plate, then started thinking maybe paint it black 1st? By the time I was done researching it (fell down the TW Rabbit hole of pics lol) too dark to install... :censored:3DFFAA8D-B1AB-463D-BB09-4290C1F1AD1E.jpg

Did this today. Pics are before, and after. This was always an eyesore to me and I thought I’d do something about it.

never thought of doing something like this. I like it. I really wanna make a platform for my truck now to make it easier on my 100lbs malamute. It would be nice for her to have a flat place to sit/lay instead of fighting between the floor and the seats for a space. Do you have a thread or anything for the progress/plans for finalizing all of that? I’d be interested in following it. I’m curious what the Mollee back is your talking about. Did you have a custom panel made for the back? Also did you have to remove the seats entirely? Or the storage bins?

What gauge did you use? What do you plan to go to? My first light bar is in the near future for my truck. Would like to have a real world idea of the gauge I should use.

Depending on what light bar you get, it’s much easier to get a wire harness with the bar. They’re simple to hook up and you don’t have to worry about wire problems if you go with a reputable company

Good idea. When I finally pull the trigger on something I’ll be sure to look into available harnesses.

Very nice man! I like it. What lift did you end up going with? How is the ride, is it harsher then it was before?

I never started a build thread (I might eventually), however I did shamelessly steal the ideas from other people. I never intended to build the temp platform out the way I did, but my needing to take the dog to the vet and not wanting her old butt to slide around back there, or be uncomfortable necessitated it. I got that idea from this thread: (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/access-cab-storage-organization.453774/) -- the Dewalt boxes were $20 from Amazon and the truckmat was $26.

The rear MOLLE panel is the one there's constantly a group buy for (ours just got completed so he'll probably be starting group buy #20 in the thread) https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ement-system-for-2nd-3rd-gen-dc-or-ac.410254/

LS Swap with RSG Tranzilla, Custom hi clearance front bumper, Relentless: Slider's, bed rails, rear bumper, Prinsu with 40" BD s8. Dirt Designs 3.5 LT. Archive Garage rear towers/shackle flip/SUA. King Air bumps. King LT Coilovers in front. King 12x2.5 in rear. ARB rear air locker and twin compressor. How much lift are you pushing with those coilovers? if your at max or trying to push higher they are gonna end up out of there designed range... alot of how a coilover rides will be based on valving, too harsh of valving and its not gonna dampen without some serious weight behind it.
