    Still stock completely capable!
This is a very scary real reminder that when going into the Wild recovery gear and supplies is beyond life saving! Agreed everyone needs to learn but it’s a good idea to try and join a group when learning to be off-road. Most experienced guys always try to be in a group for this exact reason. If you don’t have the ability to be in a group recovery gear and a sat phone/ radio is a very good idea. I appreciate OP being able to laugh at a mistake as everyone has made them once or twice. And I can bet he won’t put himself in this position again without the proper gear and setup! Everyone should appreciate OP showing this video so we can learn from it rather than doing the same thing. A lot of people do think CC is some magical cure to get you unstuck when your bogged. But like recovery gear it is only a tool and like most tools work best when you know how they work! Thanks OP for posting and having a good sense of humour glad everything turned out ok!

    Hey OP:

Change the thread title to say “Stock tire fail, stuck in mud Utah” and not only will it be more factually correct, you may also find that this will soothe the rampant butthurt you’ve inflicted on this forum.

Crawl Control isn’t a gimmick, it works great. It just can’t defy physics.

I see a Winnebago Micro Minnie trailer in your avatar pic. Good trailer choice. Get better tires.

    yup.
i had to order it from MFR with the SAND color to match the truck :D
so both truck and trailer are sand color.

so far the truck has done amazing work towing this thing around, and each month i put like 1000 miles towing that thing into a new area. it's slow in the hills, does great in the flats and downs, and it's been doing amazing MPG, 12.8mpg on my last trip to UTAH.

P.S: for those sensitive to see youtube links. I'm in no form trying to promote another video (b.s... jk.. or not hehe). it's just really difficult to upload a photo to this forum. for some reason it's very slow. Please dont' eat me. or it's fine, let go some steam no problem :D. i'm still sore from this thread, i wont feel it. hehe.

That was my first thought...he brought his kids!

I'd for sure want some recovery gear, and probably a buddy in another truck/Jeep before I'd even think about taking kids out on a adventure like that.
